I was all set with a post to introduce my new adventure tomorrow… and then this morning I awoke to learn that those 5 a.m. texts I’d been half-aware of were United informing me that my flight had been canceled. Sigh.
Now my adventure will begin on Saturday, and I’ll be taking a detour. Fortunately, I’d given myself a few days buffer when I booked my original flight just in case something like this happened! I don’t need to be anywhere specific until September 21. Barring any additional surprises, things should work out fine.
